James Jordan Middle School is a well-established independent charter school with excellent academic outcomes on state testing. Our 400 students come mostly from low-income homes. All of our students and staff rise to the highest standard of mutual respect and integrity.
We are seeking a PE instructor who is able to provide a wide range of activities beyond teaching traditional team sports such as soccer or volleyball. We want our PE instructors to offer lessons in Health Education such as nutrition, biology, anatomy and other topics to promote smart health choices for life. We also want to have activities that are likely to be life long fitness choices such as yoga, pilates, hand weights, zumba, frisbee, etc. The program is in early stages of development and we are looking for a partner to collaborate on creating the activities.
